Really, what is a blog???? I have never felt the need for one, but after reading a bunch of others I kinda got the sense that it's a cool way to vent a little and to inform all of the things going down, whether or not its related to anything you want to know! It's a blog of shit that I want to put down, so it really can be anything I guess...
ok, so I am sitting in yet another Starbucks writing this in New York. Well Soho to be exact. It's friday 25th April and I'm here for a few days to play in a squash tournament. Its the biggest event of the season so its kinda important, well Important in the scheme of doubles squash.
NY is an amazing place. It is electric, and no matter how many times I come here I always get this rush of electricity. The feeling that anything and everything will happen if you let it. It is warm and the sun is out today and after a very long ass winter you can feeel that people are relieved to feel the sun on their un-tanned sun-begging skin. My winter in Toronto has not been as much of a brutal experience due to the fact that I have been back and forth between Toronto and L.A. The time spent out west has been flat out working on the music, recording doing a video ad putting together a new band to support me. There have been a whole bunch of new tunes written and so many more to be finished and recorded.
So, I guess its time to go walk the streets. You know watching people out the window here is interesting!! The main thing I noticed is that people walk a lot more relaxed down here in Soho as opposed to up town where the racket clubs we are playing at...
